Character Counts Week BOLDLY begins on Monday, October 17th

The following are the activities for the week:

  • Oct. 17th - “Show Respect in Yellow”.  All students are encouraged to show the pillar of Respect by wearing yellow to school.
  • Oct. 18th - “Green is the color of Responsibility”.  All students are encouraged to show the pillar of Responsibility by wearing green to school.
  • Oct. 19th - “Orange you a Fair person?”  All students are encouraged to show the pillar of Fairness by wearing orange to school.
  • Oct. 20th - “Be BOLD and Blue for Trustworthiness!”  All students are encouraged to wear spirit wear/blue to school to show the pillar of Trustworthiness.
  • Oct. 21st - “Pink-out for Caring”.  Students are encouraged to wear pink to school to show the pillar of Caring and support Cancer Awareness Day.

Throughout the week, students can earn BOLD tickets in each of the five pillar colors when they display that character trait.  At the end of the week, if they have earned at least one of each color, there will be a special prize to purchase in the BOLD store.

Our student leaders will provide PSA’s each day to kick off that pillar and encourage our Chargers to show fantastic character.

Each class will either create a class slogan or have the students create individual art to represent their favorite character trait.  That art will be on display in the halls for everyone to see.  Be Bold, Be Creative!
