What is Parent Teacher Club?
The Parent Teacher Club (PTC) is a non-profit organization of parents, guardians, teachers, students, and staff at Boris Elementary. Our purpose of existence is to plan events and raise money to pay for the extras that set our school apart from the rest. Boris PTC meets on the second Tuesday of each month. For the 2020-2021 School Year, our meetings will be held at 7:00pm via zoom and we invite ALL to attend.
What does membership in Boris PTC entail?
Your membership in Boris PTC requires no commitment of time or meeting attendance. Membership in Boris PTC gives exclusive voting rights in PTC matters and is a great way to ensure future quality academic and co-curricular programs. We encourage parents, guardians, teachers, grandparents, and other family members to take an active role in the education of our rising generation by joining the PTC.
Vision for 2020-21: How does my membership help?
It is our common goal to build a web of support for the students, teachers, and community of Boris Elementary. As the PTC, we want to become more involved in building and giving back as we enhance the educational experience through hands-on learning. Through teamwork with the staff and administration, we will focus our funds on our kids, alleviate some teacher expenses for classroom and instructional supplies, and afford opportunities students would otherwise not have.
Membership for 2020-21 School Year
Given the campus closures due to COVID-19 and the unusual school year before us, we have changed the membership structure for the 2020-21 school year. Instead of the multiple membership levels which were offered in previous years, we are offering a single membership level for $25. Each membership provides voting rights for one individual.
