an outstanding school year and even during our distance learning time, our
students have shown that they are BOLD in so many ways! The support from our families at home and
partnership with our school has been a huge part of the success of our
students. Thank you for your perseverance and growth mindset, even during
Chargers have continued to lead our schoolwide commitment to the Positivity
Project, a world-wide organization dedicated to helping America’s youth build stronger relationships by recognizing the character strengths in themselves and others. Their vision is to create citizens and leaders who will enhance our communities and country by internalizing the belief that “Other People Matter.” Now, more than ever, it is important
for us all to be diligent in learning about our own character strengths, and
the strengths of others. Boris Chargers, continue to be BOLD in your thoughts,
words, and actions. Kindness matters and Character Counts ALL of the time.
As our sixth graders continue their educational journey to Reyburn, I wish them success and know they will make our entire community proud as future Timberwolves. For those students who are moving to Young Elementary School, continue to be BOLD and help to create another positive school culture for our community. Carry with you the “Other People Matter” mindset and always remember that we believe in you!
To all of our Boris students and families, believe in yourselves, set your goals high, and be the best you can be in Mind, Body, and Spirit, each and every day. You will always be a Charger at heart, and will always be the students who were such an important part of making history at Virginia R. Boris Elementary School. You are amazing, we can’t wait for the 2020-21 school year, and know you will continue to make us proud!!!
